Get Moving!
People who exercise regularly are less likely to become ill. 20 minutes/day 4-5 times a week can decrease a previously sedentary life and place you in a better position to live life to the fullest.
Whatever your vise just commit to it! Walking, running, bicycling, boarding….. so many choices! Let’s not forget the vitamin D you’ll score outside!
Consume Nutritious Foods!
Not sure how to? Visit a nutritionist for unanswered questions. Do some research. Remember mom always said eat you vegetables… and I’ll add eat a wide variety of colorful ones. 😀 A diverse diet provides vitamins and minerals that immune cells need to function well.
Include Proper Hydration
Water is best over the sugary drinks. Temperatures are climbing daily so you’ll need to pay attention to how much you lose. Keeping your body hydrated helps your heart to move blood throughout your body thus working more efficiently. So how much do you need? A good rule is if you get thirsty you’re likely already dehydrated. Also, medications/medical conditions play a role so see your MD for more information.
Manage Your Stress
Know your stressors. Establish boundaries. Recharge from time to time. Develop a support system.
