Have you seen any?

Those oh no moments when I’m plowing through the day and those pesky construction workers (who are also just trying to do their job) are blocking MY route. Who do they think they are?! Que the angst and time consuming worry about getting to work on time.

Or you’ve just experienced a myriad of other type of problems-either way challenge presented.

Those very times are when we might be inclined to feel down, frustrated or just plain CAGED! UGH!!

BUT, luckily I’ve exercised enough of those positive affirmations to believe I can do it- I can still make it… Ha! Flexing my mind muscle and putting the ol’ spin on it! You dirty little rat problem you have nothing that will survive the length it takes to become a real issue!

You see, approaching it without fear or negativity…a counteraction of mindset with great faith, prayer and supplication to our God, our Creator, the one who sees everything and is never taken by surprise.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” My Bible tells me that in Philippians (4:6,7) 

Since reaching the onset of being an quinquagenarian, I’ve many times to which I can use that 20/20 hindsight thing….to reflect on my learning curves in life and know which path to choose for whatever the current situation may be presenting itself.

So, when “those days” are in front of me I reach down and grab those bootstraps and pull those babies all the way up! Because in my heart I have hidden scriptures for these very times and instantly recite “In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct my paths.” Proverbs 3:6

TODAY the snare did not win, it did not work. Why? Because when you call on Him He delivers you and that wicked way is thwarted because evil does has an end at some point.

No didn’t come in like a wrecking ball just a humble get it done kind of way. Breaking the barriers and reaching His potential that’s rooted inside and here I am on the other side looking back now and today, like many  I am thankful for His loving, kindness and protection from those snares that arise. Hallelujah protection is abound!

 Break the cycle! Get prayed up and Shine on like the beautiful diamond you are!
